Presentation Title:

Post-marketing safety of anti-COVID-19 vaccines: A comprehensive overview of the spontaneous adverse drug reaction reports collected in Veneto

Abstract

Anti-COVID-19 vaccines have assessed to be both safe and effective, however, any of them potentially could cause ADRs. Usually, such ADRs are mild, but sometimes a severe event can occur. The work was carried out at the CRFV, (Regional Pharmacovigilance Centre of Veneto), during the initial and consolidation phases of the vaccination campaign in Italy, investigating the trend of spontaneous reporting of anti-COVID-19-vaccine-collected in Veneto between December 27th, 2020 and May 31st, 2021. Descriptive and observational approach were used to provide a comprehensive overview of safety reports. Data were retrieved from the RNF database through VigiSegn, a data warehousing application designed and developed by the IT team of the CRFV Veneto for the analysis of RNF pharmacovigilance data.
