Fatima Iqbal is an accomplished academic and researcher in the field of oral pathology. She earned her Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) from Khyber College of Dentistry (KCD), Peshawar, Pakistan, where she laid the foundation for her profound expertise in oral health. Driven by a passion for understanding the intricate relationship between oral diseases and general health, she pursued and completed her M.Phil in oral pathology, further advancing her knowledge in diagnosing and studying various oral conditions. Currently, she is on the verge of completing her PhD in oral pathology. She currently serves as an Associate Professor of oral pathology, where she balances both academic and research responsibilities. As a dedicated educator, she plays a crucial role in shaping the future of dental professionals, while also making significant contributions to pioneering research in oral health. Her research primarily focuses on understanding the pathology and risks associated with oral cancer, with a particular emphasis on the effects of smokeless tobacco. In addition to her own publications, she has reviewed numerous research articles. Throughout her career, she has authored and co-authored several influential papers, providing valuable insights that continue to advance the understanding of oral diseases.
